China refrains from congratulating the new president of America, know why

Beijing: China said on Monday that it had taken cognizance of the announcement of Joe Biden’s victory in the US presidential elections but is currently refraining from sending a congratulatory message. Significantly, due to the increasing deadlock due to competition over trade, technology and influence in Asia and other parts of the world, relations with China’s President Donald Trump were weakened.

State Department statement:
Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said that the outcome of elections will be determined under US law and procedures and China will follow international rules in expressing its feelings. In his routine briefing, Wang has spoken on behalf of his country to follow the international protocol. 

Analysts
say analysts expect Biden’s relationship to fall into a less tense category, although Beijing continued to call it an internal political affair of the United States, maintaining a policy of not commenting directly on the issue throughout the election is.
