Back in 2010 at the most controversial yet most-gossiped show of Bollywood, Koffee with Karan, Kara Johar had rolled out invitation to Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. They set the stage on fire by making some comments on Ranbir Kapoor that made Karan tell, them that they should be apart of the cast of Mean Girls remake.
“Now you’re over what happened last time, what happened on that couch?” Karan asked, and Deepika interjected with a laugh, “Are you over it?” Karan continued, “I’m over it, it was all good. Everything was sorted out. But did it take a while for you to sort it all out? Have you gone past it, with Chintu ji (Rishi Kapoor), Neetu ji (Neetu Kapoor), Ranbir?”
However, Deepika replied that if they can make a film like Yeh Jawaani hey dewwani, then there is no issues cropping up between them in the future Both are matured enough to know the difference between the professional and private lives.
