Dwayne Johnson speaks about the future of his character Luke Hobbs
Dwayne Johnson recently spoke with The Hollywood Reporter about the future of his character Luke Hobbs in the Fast & Furious franchise. While response to comments made by his former co-star, Vin Diesel, The Rock revealed that future Fast and Furious sequels will be without him. Diesel previously stated that he had to give his Fast and Furious co-stars “tough love,” according to the storey. Johnson “laughed hard” in response to this.
Johnson also responded to Vin Diesel’s recent remarks that the couple’s burger can be traced back to the “rough love” he gave Johnson in order to elicit an extraordinary performance on their 2011 film Fast Five.
While hearing the statements, Johnson stated he “laughed continuously hard.” “Everyone eventually won at that,” the actor said, adding that he will “leave it at that.” Later, the wrestler-turned-actor confirmed that we will not be returning to the Fast and Furious franchise. “Best of luck on Fast 10 and Fast 11, and the remainder of the Fast and Furious movies they do that will be without him,” Johnson said, thanking and wishing his co-stars in the franchise.
