Ganguly gives the throwback of the best moments on the World Test Championship
Sourav Ganguly, the former Indian skipper and BCCI President was impressed ith what India had presented in the inaugural WTC cycle towards the beginning. He had many things to speak about. New Zealand was comfortable enough to swipe the men in Blackcaps from their feet in the final match of WTC. However many Indian coaches did believe that New Zealand got a favor just because of the weather conditions in England, Southampton.
India emerged as the winner in the West Indies and against South Africa and Bangladesh – against whom the team started its first-ever Day/Night Test.
“I think [series] win against Australia was the best moment of highlight for me. Australia has always been a strong team, and thrashing them right at home was a huge [win] by India. With main senior players missing out, their replacements being thee juniors were delivered. India has played well consistently and that is the reason why they are in the finals,” Ganguly told in an interview.
The result of the WTC has become a very debatable topic to determine a one-off game for the best of finals. For latest updates and trending news on cricket, world, business and technology, stay tuned to the latest posts of The Midget Herald.
