Kane Williamson reveals that he has known Virat Kohli from the early journey of his career. From then he calls him mate. Under the leadership of Kane, new Zealand held the first ever title of ICC World test championship. Even under the leader of Kane New Zealand was very close to winning the World Cup 2019 as well by making it to the finals. Sadly the match was ultimately won by England due to boundary count rule.
Recently Williamson was discussing about Indian Kohli after they won the match. A picture of him hugging Kohli went viral on the internet.
“It was an amazing moment, you know him, toe to toe, and obviously, Virat and I have known each other since a long time and we’re good mates. That’s always a part of the sport as well that over the time you get the chance to meet people all over, form these friendships through these experiences you have gained either together or against each other and often find common sector and share a few interests and that’s quite special,” Williamson told.
Kane also discussed about the celebrations and the jubilant mood of all the players post the victory. For more updates on the recent cricket news, stay tuned to the latest news and posts of The Midget Herald.
