Mann ki Baat and PM Modi on the contribution of Chartered Accountants
This Sunday, PM Modi took to Mann ki baat, a renowned TV programme, about the contribution of Chartered Accountants. Previously he also addressed the contribution of doctors during this neverending last 1.5 years. As a result he concluded to celebrate 1st July as the National Doctor’s Day that happens to be the birthday of Bharat Ratna awardee, Dr BC Roy.
Apart from that, he also said that the same date 1st July shall also be celebrated as the Chartered Accountants. “A few years back, I had requested the chartered accountants of this country for a token of Indian audit firms pertaining to the global level. Today, I want to make them remember of this. Chartered accountants play an extremely important and positive role in providing transparency to the economy. I extend heartful gratitude to all chartered accountants and their family members,” Pm Modi said on Mann ki Baat.
