Paul Ritter, British Screen and Stage Star, Dies at 54
The English screen and stage star Paul Ritter passesd away on 5th April, Sunday at the age of 54 at his home in Faverrsham, Kent, England having his family member by his side. His rerason of death is brain tumor as of his agent who declared to BBC.
The agent said, “It is with great sadness we can confirm that Paul Ritter passed away last night. He died peacefully at home with his wife Polly and sons Frank and Noah by his side. He was 54 and had been suffering from a brain tumor.”
Ritter’s fame spreaded around because of his character portrayal of the family patriarch in “Friday Night Dinner”. He started his career in 1992 through “The Bill”. Besides this, he also worked for “Son of Rambow”, “Harry Potter”, “Half-Blood Prince”, “Quantum of Solace”. Ritter has recently played the character Anatoly Dyatlov, who didn’t followed the safety measurements that caused a nuclear disaster.
In 2006, he won Oliver Awards for Coram Boy under the category of best performance in a supporting role while in 2009, he won Tony Awards for The Norman Conquests under the category of best performance by an actor in a featured role in a play.
His said, “Paul was an exceptionally talented actor playing an enormous variety of roles on stage and screen with extraordinary skill. He was fiercely intelligent, kind and very funny. We will miss him greatly.”
