PM Modi addressed the Contribution of Doctors on Mann ki baat
This Sunday, our respecetd Prime Minister, Narendra Modi discussed about the contribution of doctors and chartered accountants on the renowned show Mann Ki Baat programme. He gave a token of appreciation for all the Nation-building elements who have toiled day and night from the last one year just for the service of the national and it’s people.
“A few days from today, right on July 1, we all will be celebrating National Doctors’ Day. This day is mainly to the birth anniversary of the great doctor of the country, Dr BC Roy, Bidhan Chandra Roy. We are all grateful for the endless contribution of doctors during the Corona time. Our doctors have served us day and night without caring about their own lives. Therefore, this time, this year National Doctors’ Day becomes even more prominent,” PM Modi said on Mann Ki Baat.
Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy happened to be the Chief minister of Bengal for a long term of 14 years. Apart from being a renowned chief minister, he was only a philanthropist, physician, social worker and an educationist. He was honored with the Bharat Ratna upon founding various medical agencies.
