Raipur, Bhopal, Mumbai : These cities are coming under lockdown from Monday
Lockdowns have been started in most of the cities this weekend to make sure there is no throng, shopping for the upcoming festivals. From Monday 8 p.m. onwards, Maharashtra has to follow the lockdown strictly till upcoming Monday’s 7 a.m. This is the first weekend lockdown of this state in this year.
As the 2nd wave of the COVID-19 pandemic is knocking at the door, this kind of lockdown becomes necessary to resist the tremendous circumstances of covid. So, before a week of Navaratri, Ugadi, Gudi Padwa, Baisakhi etc. Markets have been closed in order to avoid the clouds. Local restrictions, mini lockdowns, night curfews have been started from March in order to reduce the percent of covid cases. Several cities have come under this list of lockdown to keep the cities safe while the states of Northeast have kept themselves away from the second wave.

Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur- Entire Maharashtra:-
From Monday 8 p.m., Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune and other cities & counties of Maharashtra have to follow the lockdown strictly till 7 a.m. of upcoming Monday. Night curfew and weekend lockdown will continue too. Going outside is strictly prohibited except for essential elements.
As it is declared as contentment zone, its borders are sealed starting from 6 p.m. April 19. During these days, the offices of central government, state government, semi-government, private offices and bank will be closed.
The chief minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan has declared that whole Madhyapradesh, whose capital is Bhopal, will remain under 60 hour lockdown from Monday 6 p.m. onwards.
