Ramiz Raja Says “India can still make a grand comeback in this match”
Former Pakistan cricket Ramiz Raja says that he firmly believes on India being able to make a grand comeback in the final match of WTC played against New Zealand in Southampton. India is currently in a deplorable state by getting all out for 217 runs in the first inning of the match. Currently the Kiwis are at 101/2 till the bad weather conditions forbade them from continuing.
Even though India is lagging behind, Ramiz Raja believes that the Cricket heroes can be sufficient enough to make a comeback if they play a competitive cricket.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, the cricketer-turned-commentator said:
“India should ensure that New Zealand don’t have a big lead. They need to keep up the pressure and take wickets at regular intervals backed by good catching. Virat Kohli needs to have a straight and simple gameplan and everyone should be on the same page with defined roles.
Also Ramiz Raja claimed that New Zealand has a one-dimensional bowling attack comprising all the fast bowlers only. Whereas Indian have a good combination of spinners and pacers, who can easily pick up 20 wickets in this match. Especially players like Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja can make a difference.
