The director of Loki season 2 Kate Herron has indicated that she will not be returning.
One person associated to Loki who will not return for Season 2 is director Kate Herron. Herron told Deadline that her time with Loki is up, and she will not be back for Season 2. The director directed all six episodes of Loki’s first season and was involved with the show throughout the production of the COVID-19 epidemic.
“I’m not returning. I wasn’t planning on staying on for more than this, and season 2 wasn’t in the cards — but it’s something I’m genuinely looking forward to. I’m looking forward to watching it as a fan next season, but for now, I simply want to express my pride in what we’ve accomplished and that I gave it my all. I’m also working on a few other projects that I haven’t done yet.”
