The heated vaccination, by IISc Bengaluru provided substantial immunity against all known corona virus subtypes
The vaccine was created by a Bengaluru-based spin-off of the reputed Indian Institute of Science (IISc). In experiments on rats and hamsters, it was proven to be effective against all major types of corona. It has yet to be put to the test on humans.
According to a study published in the journal ACS Infectious Disease on Thursday. In rats, this anti-corona vaccine mix created by IISc spin-off Mynvax resulted in high immunity. This vaccine was tested on rat sera, according to SS Vasan, leader of the CSIRO’s Covid-19 project and co-author of the report.
In this case, the vaccine provided substantial immunity against all known corona virus subtypes, including Delta. The vaccine’s antibody can also suppress the alpha, beta, and gamma versions, according to the research. This vaccine, however, has not yet been tested on humans. The institute is hard at work preparing for this.
