Wanda is still alive, according to the latest issue of X-Men: The Trial of Magneto

In the first issue of The Trial of Magneto, written by Leah Williams and Lucas Werneck, it was revealed that the evidence discovered at the scene, as well as the autopsy, indicated that she had been strangled by someone close to her using the power of magnetism. Magneto is, of course, the most obvious candidate, but there are other elements that point to another possibility.

Wanda is still alive, according to the latest issue of X-Men: The Trial of Magneto. Perhaps as a result of her consciousness being on another mystical realm. Wanda’s corpse is discovered by the Avengers when Hope Summers awakens Magneto from his forced slumber in order to keep the Avengers from viewing Wanda’s body for whatever reason. When Magneto confesses to the death of Wanda in an attempt to persuade the Avengers to leave, Wanda herself seems to be alive and well in the Avengers’ headquarters.
